Welcome to McCulloch County
McCulloch County is located on the Edwards Plateau at the heart of Texas Hill Country. It was named after Benjamin McCulloch, a soldier in the Texas Revolution, Ranger, major general in the Texas militia, and thereafter a major in the United States Army during the Mexican–American War.

A town located at the geographical center of Texas, Brady offers residents a rural lifestyle. As of the 2019 census, its population was 5,355. The town got its name from the Brady River that runs through it.
